Wombats are animals in Lost Ember that are able to be possessed. Unlike most other animals, there is also a baby version of the wombat, which is basically just a smaller wombat.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Wombats have the ability to go to small places. They can walk into burrows, under small overhangs, etc. They also have 'Silly little things' that they can do. By pressing 1 while close to berries and possessing a wombat, the player can make the wombat eat a berry. By pressing 2, the player can make the wombat they are possessing lie down. Another fun little thing the wombat can do is it can roll around.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Wombats first appear in the prologue, when the Companion chases them out of their burrow. The player must possess a wombat in order to get across a small ravine. There are multiple other instances in which you must possess a wombat in order to progress in the game, but I won't name them all.

Legendary Wombat[edit | edit source]

[Spoilers ahead]

The Legendary Wombat can be found in Chapter I: Forgotten Love. When you possess a hummingbird in order to fly past a bunch of odd-shaped "mountains", fly through the hole in the mountain with a waterfall coming from it. There you should be able to find a brightly glowing wombat that is the legendary wombat.
