Catfish are animals in the game Lost Ember.
Abilities are unique in that they have the ability to slide in very shallow water. Their ability can only be used in certain places, when the game has these sort of natural "slides" with a bit of water running through them. Then, you can use the axolotl to slide quickly.[]

In Chapter IV: Close to the Sun, you must use an axolotl to slide for a long way all the way to a field of fireflies. In Chapter V: Wayla, you have to slide once more through a desert in order to get to a jungle-like area.
